Bee Pollen. The next superfood.
In simple words, bee pollen is nothing but the food of bees which is a natural mixture of bee secretions, pollen, nectar, and bee wax, that is made by the bees when they land on flowers for collecting honey. Shaped in small balls, bee pollen is carried into the beehive where these balls get released into the hive’s honeycomb. The pollen later gets fermented into ‘bee bread’, on which bees thrive for food.
Bee pollen is antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antiviral in nature and is loaded with a whopping 200 active substances including amino acids, triglycerides, vitamins, micro and macronutrients, and flavonoids.
